*) Leisure cruises will only take place with a minimum 20 guests (all other leisure cruises are guaranteed).
The leisure cruise at 14:00 is guaranteed to take place throughout the entire season, regardless of the number of guests. The same is true of the 11:00 cruise during peak season. All other departure times will only be offered provided a minimum number of 20 guests is reached.
Advance reservations mean that many cruises can be confirmed in advance. These can be queried at the landing stage and can also be found in the current weekly timetable. We are also happy to accept reservations for a leisure cruise on a desired date.
Starting at 11:00, sixty-minute leisure cruises depart on the hour every hour from the landing stage. Passengers may disembark and board during the cruise at the request landing stages in Altensalz, Gansgrün and on the Schloßhalbinsel peninsula. Please see our timetable for exact departure times, which are dependent on the season and number of guests.
Information on directions to, accessibility of, and facilities at the landing stage
· The landing stage for the leisure cruise is located near the dam.
· The landing stage area is barrier-free and has a tourist information office, public toilets, and a café with a large sun terrace.
· Access to the boats is made easier for people with limited mobility through permanent railings.
· The closest public car parks to the landing stage are Parkplatz Möschwitz and Parkplatz Sperrmauer.
· Disabled parking spaces are available next to the landing stage.
Boarding and disembarking at request stops
Please note that the leisure cruises only stop at the landing stages in Altensalz, Gansgrün and on the Schloßhalbinsel peninsula upon request. To board or disembark at these request stops, please contact the leisure cruise landing stage.
